Privacy Policy — Blue Scoreboard

Blue Scoreboard (bluescoreboard.com) is an invite-only live sports statistics tracker. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you register with an invite code, we collect your email address and a password (stored in encrypted/hashed form by our authentication provider). Your invite code and account status are recorded so we can administer the invite program.

Your activity in the product. The players and statistical targets you choose to track, combos you save for tracking, and your activity with our digital collectible features (coins, dice, and cards issued to your account, including serial numbers and balances) are stored so the product works — your tracked items persist between visits and your collectibles stay provably yours.

Automatic information. Like most websites, our hosting platform records standard technical data such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate timestamps, and may use cookies or similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the site.

We do not collect payment card information — Blue Scoreboard does not currently sell anything or process payments. We do not run a sportsbook and we never receive information about wagers you may place elsewhere.

How we use information

• To operate the product: sign you in, show your tracked players and live statistics, and maintain your collectible balances and records.
• To administer the invite program (including per-code limits and Founder status).
• To communicate with you about your account (for example, verification and account emails).
• To keep the service secure and working, and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve it.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the product on our behalf — hosting, authentication, database, and email delivery providers — and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law.

One narrow exception: if a player or team name you type isn't found in the sports data, a backup lookup may send that name and the stat name you typed — and nothing else about you or your account — to an AI search service to identify the player or team.

Where our sports data comes from

The live scores and statistics displayed in the product — NFL and MLB alike — come from ESPN's publicly available scoreboard, game-summary, and core API endpoints. Our servers fetch this data; no account information, email address, or personal data is sent with these requests, and no official league feed, API key, or license is involved. Team logos are loaded from ESPN's image CDN. Point spreads, totals, and player lines shown for reference are publicly posted figures from major sportsbooks (such as FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM). Blue Scoreboard displays publicly available sports data from third-party sources and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, MLB, ESPN, or any sportsbook, team, or league.

Data retention and your choices

We keep account information while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email above, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your account deletes your tracked items and collectible records.

Children

Blue Scoreboard is not directed to children under 13, and accounts are intended for users 18 or older.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
